Nigerian retired footballer, Nwankwo Kanu and his wife, Amara on Tuesday celebrated 15 years of being together as a couple.
Kanu posted a picture of himself on the social network, Twitter on Tuesday, 3rd of July 2019, wearing a white shirt and a tracksuit, holding Amara his wife, who was slaying in a beach outfit.
In his message to his wife on the day of celebration, the football legend, who established the Kanu Nwankwo Heart Foundation, said to his wife, “15 years More to come. Happy anniversary to us. We thank God for everything.”
Kanu walked down the aisle with Amara when she was only 18 years old and right now they are blessed with three children. Two sons (Sean Chukwudi Kanu and Iyang Onyekachi Kanu) and a daughter Pinky Amarachi Kanu.
Kanu Nwankwo while he was a footballer, played as a forward. He was born on 1 August 1976 in Owerri, Nigeria. He was a member of the Nigerian national team and later captained the Eagles for 16 years from 1994 until 2010. He is igbo by tribe.
