According to DAILY POST, Manchester United have finally completed the signing of Monaco midfielder Hannibal Mejbri after completing his medical.
The highly-rated France U16 international will be officially announced as a Manchester United player on Tuesday, according to reports on The Sun.
The Red Devils will be paying the French Ligue 1 giants an initial fee of £4.5 million for the 16-year-old, with another £4.5 million in bonuses which brings it to a total sum of £9 million (₦4 billion).
This news is coming after Harry Maguire joined the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side from fellow Premier League rivals Leicester City on Monday.
Mejbri will become Manchester United’s fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Daniel James from Swansea City, Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace and Harry Maguire who completed a world record £85 million transfer from Leicester City on Monday. It was reported last week that the Reds reached an agreement with Monaco, over a potential £9million deal for the central midfielder.
Manchester United have been chasing Mejbri since the January winter transfer window when they opened initial talks with Monaco. He has also been followed by Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea for the past three seasons.
