Meet The Most Powerful Bugatti Hypercar Yet: The ₦3.3 Billion Centodieci

These are the words from Bugatti President, Stephan Winkelmann, during the unveiling of the new limited-edition $9m (₦3.3 billion) Centodieci Hypercar at the Monterey’s annual auto week.

The Centodieci, which means 110 in Italian, is not only celebrating Bugatti’s 110th anniversary, but it’s also paying homage to its iconic 90s supercar, the EB110, which was built for Ettore Bugatti’s 110th birthday in 1991.

Unlike Bugatti’s one-off $18.7 million La Voiture Noire, which was built for grand touring, the new Centodieci was built for speed.

It features the infamous Bugatti’s 8.0-liter W16 engine can move the Hypercar from zero to 62 mph in just 2.4 seconds and 124 mph in 6.1 seconds and to 186 mph in 13.1 seconds. Like the Chiron, Bugatti electronically limited the top speed of the car to 236 mph.

Bugatti plans to build just 10 Centodieci Hypercars, which will cost roughly $10 million after taxes. It is currently on display at the Monterey Car week along side the one-off $18.7 million La Voiture Noire. The Voiture Noire or Black Car, which already has a buyer, won’t be ready for at least 2½ years.

Last year’s Monterey car week saw the  unveiling of the Bugatti Divo that was designed for corners instead of speed. Just 40 of the sold-out $6 million Hypercar will be made.

Rashford should learn ONE thing from Ronaldo to help Man United this season

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford needs to demand goals like Cristiano Ronaldo so that he can help the Premier League club enjoy a great season.

Kleberson, who played for United between 2003 and 2005, believes that Rashford is an “unbelievable” player that can become the team’s leading goalscorer this term if he can pick a thing or two from club legend, Ronaldo.

Rashford became a household name in English football when he burst to the scene as a youngster at Old Trafford in 2015 under Louis van Gaal.

The England striker scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first League Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. Rashford scored on his England debut in May 2016, becoming the youngest English player to score in his first senior international match.

He played at the UEFA Euro 2016 as the tournament’s youngest player, and at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The 21-year-old has since only managed to score 47 goals in 171 matches across all competitions, showing a lack of composure in the final third despite being trusted by Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. However, with Romelu Lukaku’s departure from the club, Rashford has been tipped to get a lot of goals this season.
Rashford contributed a modest 10 goals and six assists to United’s cause in 33 Premier League appearances last season, but he already has two goals to his name in the 2019-20 campaign.

The England international netted a double in a 4-0 home victory over Chelsea on Sunday, helping Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side open their account in style.
Kleberson who won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002 believes that Rashford can become like Cristiano Ronaldo, who hit 118 goals in 292 games during his time with the Red Devils.“If Rashford plays like he did last weekend, he’ll score at least 18 goals this season,” told

“He’s unbelievable and he only needs one opportunity to score. He’s had a great start and now has the confidence to continue. Now he has to take his chance and demand goals like Cristiano Ronaldo did at Man United. He has to look at his goals last season and say ‘I want to score more this year.”

Kleberson also revealed that he has been impressed by the new signings made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this summer. The World Cup winner particularly highlighted Wan-Bissaka and James in particular, as he added: “I think Aaron Wan-Bissaka has still got things to improve on but he’s a solid defender, you can see he has quality, but it was his only his first game.”

“A lot of players prepare well for their first game but we need to see how he does for the upcoming games. Daniel James has impressed me. It’s good to see a player like that who is very fast in the Premier League,” Kleberson added.

“If you are direct and quick in this league, you can help the team pick up a lot of points. That’s how the Man United fans want their team to play, direct in attack and creating plenty of opportunities.”

NYSC speaks on N30,000 minimum wage payment to corps members, reveals changes to certificate

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has explained that payment of N30,000 minimum wage to corps members will depend on directive from the federal government.

He also disclosed that date of birth of corp members would start appearing as from the issuance of the Batch C discharge certificates to guard against age falsification.
The NYSC Director-General, Shuaibu Ibrahim, said this while speaking to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja.

”On the minimum wage, I cannot make any pronouncement because it is ongoing. The moment it is transmitted to NYSC, we will make it known to the corps members and the general public,” he said.

He said the NYSC Act stipulates that fake graduates are liable to two years in jail, after prosecution.
He said a corps producing institution will be blacklisted if it engages in this act.

“Let me reiterate our warning that any person who presents fake certificate in an attempt to get mobilised for service will be handed over to the security agencies for prosecution.

“We are working on those fake corps members. They will be arrested and prosecuted.
“If I show you their papers, you will feel very sad. Some people have asked me if NYSC has the power to crosscheck the certification of graduates, I said no, but we have the power to ensure that unqualified Nigerians are not mobilised for service.

“The NYSC Act says unqualified Nigerians who go for service are liable for jail (term) of two years.

“So, the NYSC will never condone or abet illegality in any form. We want Nigerians to know that. Since inception, 4,644,804 Nigerians have participated in the scheme.”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has lamented delay in implementation not the new minimum wage.
